Through this piece, I sought to create a piece that embodies the profound journey of life shared between two individuals, transcending differences in backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences. This artwork serves as a tribute to the enduring friendships I have nurtured over the years, reflecting the profound influence of my upbringing in Ethiopia. It is through this cultural foundation that I have been able to forge deep, soulful connections with friends who have become like true sisters to me.
